Slate Auto - Your Thoughts?

It's a truck! It's an SUV! It's just plain cool.

We've been reading about Slate Auto now for a couple of days and I have to say, this is really impressive and a breath of fresh air for the auto industry. Here are some bullet points of why we think this:

• It's compact and comparable in size to a 1980's Toyota pickup. The market is ripe for a true compact pickup and this one is going to deliver!

• It's SIMPLE. As in manual windows and no huge screen on the dash. Want tunes? Throw your Bluetooth speaker in and go.

• It's customizable. As in change the color yourself or even convert it to an SUV with additional accessories. Lots of options here!

• And most importantly, it's DIY! The whole concept of this vehicle is DIY based, and we cannot wait to see this thing hit the market.
